About Us
Genuine Law Associate and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. was founded to give individuals, families, and businesses in Nepal access to dependable legal counsel without the confusion that often surrounds dealing with courts and government offices.
Wakil Nepal was established in 2015 in Kathmandu with a simple goal: make legal services in Nepal more transparent, more responsive, and more accessible. What began as a small practice handling company registrations and contract work for local entrepreneurs has grown into a full-service firm supporting clients across corporate law, intellectual property, immigration, family law, property law, and litigation.
Today, our advocates regularly appear before Nepal's District Courts, High Courts, and the Supreme Court, and work directly with regulatory bodies including the Office of the Company Registrar (OCR), the Department of Industry, the Department of Immigration, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), the Department of Foreign Employment, and Land Revenue Offices nationwide. We combine that regulatory familiarity with a client-first approach: clear timelines, honest cost estimates, and direct access to the advocate handling your matter.
Whether you are a foreign investor registering a company under the Industrial Enterprises Act, a family resolving a property dispute under the National Civil Code, or an individual applying for a visa through the Department of Immigration, our role is to make the legal process predictable and manageable.
To provide clear, dependable, and ethical legal counsel that helps our clients resolve disputes, meet regulatory obligations, and pursue opportunities in Nepal with confidence.
We give clients honest assessments of their legal position, even when the answer is not what they hoped to hear.
Nepali law and bureaucratic procedure can be confusing. We explain each step in plain language before we act on it.
Every engagement has a named advocate responsible for the outcome, not a rotating cast of unfamiliar staff.
Our advocates work directly with the Office of the Company Registrar, Department of Immigration, Inland Revenue Department, and courts across Nepal on a routine basis.
